Job Summary

The Workshop Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization throughout the automotive workshop, ensuring a safe and professional working environment for employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the workshop floor, service bays, offices, reception, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove dust, dirt, grease, and debris from designated areas.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of general waste according to company procedures.
• Clean workshop equipment, tools, shelves, and workstations as instructed.
• Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, pantry, and staff facilities.
• Refill cleaning supplies, soap, tissue paper, and other consumables when required.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are stored safely after use.
• Report any maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at all times.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties as assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school education is preferred.
• Previous experience as a cleaner, preferably in an automotive workshop, garage, or industrial environment.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.
