Diamond State Meats is looking to fill the following position :

1st shift: Delivery Drivers (7am-3pm)

Responsibilities:
– Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locations
– Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
– Load and unload packages using manual or powered equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks
– Verify the accuracy of packages and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
– Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
– Communicate with dispatch or supervisor regarding any issues or delays

Qualifications:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role preferred
– Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
– Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems
– Strong attention to detail and time management skills
– Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 80 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
