Warehouse Assistant / Sales Associate

Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Pay Range: $16–$18 per hour

Job Summary

Davis Decorative Hardware is seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Warehouse Assistant/Sales Associate to join our team. This in-person role includes warehouse operations, inventory control, order processing, and customer support. Training is provided for specialized tasks such as lock keying.

Responsibilities

(Not all-inclusive)

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

• Receive incoming freight via FedEx, UPS, and freight carriers
• Verify all received items against purchase orders and enter data into the system
• Allocate received products to open sales orders
• Complete and process branch transfers
• Label, pack, and ship orders to branch locations
• Perform inventory tasks and physically check stock levels
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean, organized warehouse area

Customer Service & Support

• Assist walk‑in customers with professionalism and courtesy
• Answer phone calls as needed
• Key locks (training provided)
• Record key codes accurately in the computer
• Cross‑train and assist other departments as needed

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfort using computers and inventory-entry systems
• Ability to lift and handle products as part of daily tasks
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to customer service
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $16–$18, based on experience
• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
