The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations and ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of inventory and facilities. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who excels at team management, process optimization, and maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy using modern tools like CMMS systems. You will oversee daily warehouse activities while also supervising a small team of property maintenance specialists to keep our facilities in top condition.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing,
shipping, and distribution of goods to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. - Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels within our CMMS system, performing
regular audits, cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting to minimize discrepancies,
stockouts, and overstock. - Directly supervise 2 Property Maintenance Specialists, including scheduling,
performance monitoring, training, coaching, and conducting regular team meetings to
promote productivity and accountability. - Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes, layout optimizations, and
standard operating procedures to maximize space utilization and workflow efficiency. - Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards (OSHA, company
policies, etc.), conducting regular inspections and maintaining a safe working
environment. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, labor
productivity, and cost control; prepare reports and recommend improvements. - Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, operations, finance) to align
inventory needs, resolve issues, and support overall business goals. - Manage facility upkeep (in collaboration with property maintenance team), and vendor
relationships for supplies and services. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, enhance efficiency, and
control operational costs
