Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting daily specials and beverage options.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
• Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven restaurant experience with a strong background in food service or hospitality roles.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests confidently and professionally.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for understanding menu items and preparation standards.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction.
