Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly demeanor and guide them to their tables
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and service
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
• Open availability for evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
