Responsibilities

• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest relations
• Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about specials, and accommodate special requests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining areas, and service stations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service flow and guest satisfaction
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information and making reservations as needed
• Support guest needs throughout their visit, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish

Skills

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles within restaurants or hotels
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities to handle inquiries gracefully
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, including serving techniques and guest engagement strategies
• Experience working with reservation management tools and hotel guest services is a plus
• Exceptional teamwork skills to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments
