As a Waitress in a healthcare facility, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to patients, visitors, and staff. Your primary role will be to ensure a pleasant and efficient dining service while adhering to hygiene and safety standards. You will play a vital role in promoting a positive and comfortable environment for those you serve.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, considering dietary restrictions or special requests.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring accuracy and proper portion control.
- Ensure tables are properly set with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments before each meal service.
- Maintained a clean and organized dining area, including wiping tables, sanitizing surfaces, and arranging furniture.
- Monitor and refill beverage stations, ensuring an adequate supply of drinks and disposables.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after meal services.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and dietary personnel to ensure smooth coordination of food service operations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff, providing information on menu options, specials, and any changes to meal services.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, seeking assistance when needed.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guideline set adequatelys, including properly handling utensils, food, and equipment.
- Adhere to healthcare facility policies and regulations, including infection control and confidentiality protocols.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records, such as meal counts, inventory control, and customer feedback.
- Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
