A. Guest Service Excellence
- Greet guests warmly within 10 seconds of seating.
- Present menus, explain signature dishes, and highlight chef recommendations.
- Provide professional suggestions (upselling) based on guest preferences.
- Record orders accurately using POS and confirm special instructions/allergies.
- Ensure drinks and appetizers are served promptly.
- Check on guests regularly without interrupting their experience.
- Handle complaints politely and escalate when necessary.
B. Table Management & Service Flow
- Set up tables with cutlery, plates, napkins, and glassware according to standard.
- Ensure tables are clean and ready before guests arrive.
- Deliver food and drinks following service sequence.
- Clear tables efficiently and reset within 2–3 minutes.
- Assist with table arrangements for large groups and events.
C. Menu & Product Knowledge
- Maintain strong knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, cooking styles, allergens, and portion sizes.
- Understand Iraqi modern cuisine storytelling — dish origins, flavors, and chef innovations.
- Stay updated with new items, limited edits, and promotions.
D. Communication & Coordination
- Coordinate smoothly with food runners, busser, bar, and kitchen team.
- Communicate order changes immediately to the kitchen.
- Work closely with supervisors to maintain service quality.
E. Billing & Payment Handling
- Present the bill accurately and on time.
- Process cash, card, and digital payments securely.
- Ensure correct change is given.
- Follow company procedures for discounts or voids.
