Job Summary

The Waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is warm, attentive, well-groomed, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly and attend to them in a timely manner.
• Present menus, answer questions, and offer recommendations on products, desserts, and beverages.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them correctly into the POS system.
• Serve items promptly and check on guests throughout their visit.
• Ensure tables and service areas are clean, properly set, and well-presented at all times.
• Handle guest requests and resolve any concerns politely and professionally.
• Process payments accurately and issue receipts.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, product range, daily specials, and promotions.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Support team members and assist with opening and closing duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Waiter or in a customer service / F&B role is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, well-groomed, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
