Role Overview

The Waiter is responsible for delivering attentive, professional, and efficient table service to ensure a consistently high-quality guest experience. As a core front-of-house role, the Waiter represents the brand on the floor and supports smooth service flow through strong product knowledge, accuracy, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery

• Welcome guests and provide attentive table service throughout the dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them correctly into the POS
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation and timing

Guest Engagement

• Guide guests through menus and provide recommendations
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests efficiently
• Support upselling in line with service standards

Section & Team Support

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of assigned tables and service areas
• Coordinate with runners, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure smooth service
• Support colleagues to maintain service pace during busy periods

Standards & Compliance

• Follow hygiene, safety, and service SOPs at all times
• Maintain professional grooming and brand representation
• Support opening, closing, and side duties as required

KPIs & Success Metrics

• Guest satisfaction and service accuracy
• Speed and efficiency of service
• Table and section management
• Compliance with service standards

Candidate Requirements

• 1-3 years’ experience in a waiter or service role
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
