Job description:

– Must provide superior customer service to all guests you encounter.

– Must complete the property’s daily position duty checklist, and turn in before leaving for the day.

– The Hotel Shuttle Driver is a trained shuttle van driver holding the current and valid driver’s license and insurance, which meets and is approved by the insurance company insurance standard. They mainly operate these shuttles to transfer passengers to and within the hotel range.

– Possess outstanding customer service skills and communications at all times. Communicate to hotel the names of the arriving passengers on the shuttle.

– Complete the shuttle log thoroughly on each trip.

– Have knowledge of local area.

– Check assigned shuttle bus for cleanliness inside and out, along with mechanical and engine conditions to ensure top shape prior to being deployed. Must complete daily van check list and turn in daily to shift supervisor. Eating or drinking inside the van is strictly prohibited by employees.

– Observe shift attendance and assigned service schedules.

– Report any problem with the shuttle bus to the supervisor for proper corrective action.

– Ensure complete knowledge of assigned shuttle routes between hotel and destination.

– Help boarding passengers with their baggage if called for and complete proper luggage storage procedures to include luggage tag and store in designated storage area.

– Be available to stay late for last minute pick ups.

– Can understand and comply with road and safety.

– Assist any passengers that may need assistance in and out of vehicle.

– May clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories directly by the front desk manager.

– May perform other duties when not driving, such as custodial, building maintenance tasks, and assist front desk with any needed tasks.
