Full job description
We are seeking an experienced Time Keeper to manage workforce attendance and manpower records at our construction/MEP project sites. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience as a Time Keeper and hands-on experience managing attendance for 200+ workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily attendance of workers and staff (biometric/manual).
- Maintain detailed logs for:
- Time in / time out
- Overtime hours
- Absences and leaves
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, and HR for manpower allocation and site transfers.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly attendance and manpower reports.
- Provide accurate attendance and OT inputs to HR/Accounts for payroll processing.
- Track employee:
- Joining & exit dates
- Leave requests & approvals
- Site assignments
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law regarding working hours and overtime.
- Maintain organized soft and hard copies of timesheets, OT approvals, and leave forms.
- Assist during internal/external audits with verified attendance data.
- Immediately report discrepancies, irregularities, or unauthorized absences.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Education: High School / Diploma
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years as a Time Keeper in construction or MEP projects
- Must have handled attendance for 200+ employees
- UAE experience preferred
- Familiar with biometric systems, time & attendance software, and MS Excel.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong record-keeping & numerical skills
- Basic understanding of UAE Labour Law
- Good communication skills in English (Hindi/Urdu added advantage)
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced site conditions
- Honest, responsible, and disciplined
