Time Keeper

Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Time Keeper to manage workforce attendance and manpower records at our construction/MEP project sites. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience as a Time Keeper and hands-on experience managing attendance for 200+ workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily attendance of workers and staff (biometric/manual).
  • Maintain detailed logs for:
  • Time in / time out
  • Overtime hours
  • Absences and leaves
  • Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, and HR for manpower allocation and site transfers.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly attendance and manpower reports.
  • Provide accurate attendance and OT inputs to HR/Accounts for payroll processing.
  • Track employee:
  • Joining & exit dates
  • Leave requests & approvals
  • Site assignments
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law regarding working hours and overtime.
  • Maintain organized soft and hard copies of timesheets, OT approvals, and leave forms.
  • Assist during internal/external audits with verified attendance data.
  • Immediately report discrepancies, irregularities, or unauthorized absences.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Education: High School / Diploma
  • Experience Required:
  • Minimum 2 years as a Time Keeper in construction or MEP projects
  • Must have handled attendance for 200+ employees
  • UAE experience preferred
  • Familiar with biometric systems, time & attendance software, and MS Excel.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong record-keeping & numerical skills
  • Basic understanding of UAE Labour Law
  • Good communication skills in English (Hindi/Urdu added advantage)
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced site conditions
  • Honest, responsible, and disciplined
