Job Title: THIRD COOK
We are recruiting for (2). The position is full-time 30-40 hours per week, permanent with an hourly rate of $17.25. Overtime may be necessary as required paid at time and half.
Job duties:
- Prepare and serve food in one of our many sections of the kitchen, including a la carte, banquets and Base Camp, our staff cafeteria
- Operate individual station within the kitchen, under the supervision of first cooks, and/or CDP
- Report to the kitchen CDP and First Cooks
- Work according to menu specifications
- Control food waste in your section
- Follow and ensure compliance with safe food handling policies, including personal hygiene procedures
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to leadership
- Protecting company assets and ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Supporting our employee culture, speak with others using clear and professional language, listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other departments
- Support your team to reach common goals, ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Employment Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of related food industry experience
- Completion of high school and college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
