Join Our Team as a Surgical Center Cleaner!

Location: Novi, MI – Surgical Center on 12 Mile Rd
Pay: $14.00/hour (Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Total Hours: 25 hours per week

Position Overview

As a surgical center cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in a medical environment, including sterile areas and operating rooms. Your work helps ensure a safe and hygienic space for medical staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum carpets using backpack and upright vacuums
• Sweep, dry mop, and wet mop floors
• Remove trash (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)
• Dust furniture and surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Clean glass and mirrors
• Wipe and disinfect high-touch surfaces
• Restock paper products and soap dispensers
• Use cleaning procedures to maintain sterile areas
• Address any concerns found during routine inspections
• Turn off lights and secure the building at the end of the shift

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Team-oriented and dependable
• Must wear scrubs (provided by the company)
• Comfortable working in a medical environment, including surgical and sterile areas
