Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Supervisor to oversee on-site steel erection works and ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in steel fabrication and erection, with strong leadership and site-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate structural steel erection activities on-site.
• Plan and allocate daily manpower, materials, and resources to meet the project schedule.
• Monitor daily work progress and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Ensure all works comply with approved engineering specifications, standards, and method statements.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
• Verify lifting and rigging plans and supervise safe crane and lifting operations.
• Coordinate with project engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Inspect steel connections, welding works, bolt tightening, and alignment.
• Review and interpret structural and fabrication/shop drawings.
• Identify and resolve on-site technical issues promptly.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment, including cranes and lifting gear.
• Report daily manpower, material usage, and progress to the Project Manager.
• Maintain site records, inspection reports, and material delivery logs.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in structural steel erection or fabrication supervision.
• Experience on steel contracting projects in the UAE preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and shop drawings.
• Working knowledge of EN or AISC standards and bolted/welded steel connection methods.
• Familiarity with lifting and rigging operations and coordination of riggers/banksmen.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
• Trade or technical qualification in a structural/mechanical/civil discipline, and a recognized safety certification (NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHAD) — an advantage.
