We are seeking to hire an experienced Storekeeper – joinery experience to join its team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store wood materials, raw materials, and finished products according to approved procedures.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure proper storage, safety, and ease of access.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records through regular stock counts.
- Prepare and issue materials to production departments as per approved requests.
- Ensure proper handling, stacking, and preservation of wood materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Coordinate with procurement and production departments regarding material availability and requirements.
- Maintain updated warehouse documentation, including delivery notes, issue vouchers, and inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and factory regulations.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to management immediately.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper in wood factories or similar manufacturing environments.
- Good knowledge of wood types, sizes, and factory materials.
- Ability to use inventory systems and MS Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Preference for candidates currently residing in the UAE.
