The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving goods, tracking stock levels, and ensuring accurate and timely dispatch of items within a dark store or F&B environment. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of perishable items, FMCG handling, storage standards, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock levels for food, beverages, and FMCG items.
• Conduct daily/weekly stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
• Update stock records in the system in real-time.

2. Receiving & Dispatching

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantity and quality of goods.
• Check delivery notes, invoices, and report any shortages or damages.
• Ensure timely picking and dispatching of customer orders within SLAs.
• Prepare items for delivery and ensure accurate packing.

3. Storage & Quality Control

• Organize and maintain storeroom according to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ensure proper temperature storage for perishable items.
• Follow HACCP and company quality standards.
• Report damaged or expired stock and arrange replacements.

4. System & Documentation

• Update inventory in ERP / WMS systems.
• Maintain all logs, stock sheets, and documentation.
• Assist with monthly stock audits and reporting.

5. Coordination

• Coordinate with purchasing team, delivery supervisors, and suppliers.
• Assist with stock forecasting and replenishment requirements.
• Support operations team during peak hours.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as Storekeeper in Dark Store, Online Grocery, or F&B industry.
• Knowledge of food safety handling and storage procedures.
• Experience working with warehouse systems (ERP / WMS).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory software).
• Physically fit to handle stock movement and lifting.
• Ready to work in shifts and fast-paced environments.
