Full job description
Role and Responsibilities:
- Must have knowledge of all construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records
- Work closely with project managers to make sure materials are available when needed, avoiding delays
- Check and record all incoming materials, making sure the quantity and condition match the order
- Ensure proper handling and storing of materials to reduce waste and damage.
- Conduct regular physical inventory checks and compare them to system records to find any differences
- Create reports on material discrepancies, inventory use, stock levels, and reordering needs for management
- Ensure all inventory practices comply with the company’s health, safety, and environmental standards, conduct regular checks and audits
- Monitor tools and equipment given to workers, and ensure they are returned in good condition
Skills And Experience:
- Experience: at least 2 years as storekeeper in construction site
- Good communication and inventory control skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
