Full job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Controller to manage and oversee the inventory products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock levels, maintaining safe storage practices, and coordinating closely with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily inventory movements (inbound/outbound) accurately in the inventory management system.
- Perform regular stock audits and reconciliations to verify physical inventory against system records.
- Work closely with the purchasing and sales departments to forecast demand and plan inventory replenishment accordingly.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled, stored, and organized in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain documentation of inventory reports, material safety data sheets (MSDS), and other relevant records.
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory principles are followed.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and improvements.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely stock movement and delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Controller, preferably in chemical trading, HORECA industry or a similar industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
