About the Role:
The Store Clerk Rate 3 plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of retail store activities. This position is responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers, and maintaining the overall organization and cleanliness of the store environment. The role requires attention to detail to accurately process transactions, restock merchandise, and handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. The Store Clerk Rate 3 contributes to creating a positive shopping experience by supporting sales efforts and ensuring product availability. Ultimately, this position supports the store’s operational goals by maintaining high standards of service and organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and stocking.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Familiarity with retail merchandising and product display techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
