Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
• Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and product demonstrations to boost sales
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, appealing products
• Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and processing shipments accurately
• Use effective phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support cashiering duties by processing transactions quickly and accurately while maintaining excellent communication skills

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially in guiding team members or managing daily store operations
• Familiarity with grocery store environments or retail math concepts will be advantageous
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling, pricing, and sales calculations
• Experience with merchandising, product demos, or upselling techniques will help you excel in this role
• Strong communication skills and phone etiquette are essential for engaging with customers confidently
