Duties

• Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are properly labeled, organized, and replenished to maintain an attractive store presentation
• Provide friendly and professional customer service, assisting shoppers with product inquiries and guiding them through their purchases
• Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers
• Upsell related items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, adhering to store standards for safety and presentation
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing cash registers at shift end

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership roles
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are advantageous
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or merchandising techniques is beneficial
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and lifting merchandise
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management
