As a Slot Cleaner, you will be acting as sanitation support for the Warehouse team and play a primary role in ensuring the warehouse is in compliance with any/all food safety handling requirements.

• Earn $20.00 per hour \+ $2.00 freezer pay Total: $22.00
• Schedule :Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
• Location: 61 Medeiros Way, Westfield MA 01085

You will contribute by:

• Cleaning and maintaining warehouse aisles and product slots.
• Cleaning spills including damaged product, oil, grease, broken glass, etc. May require use of sawdust, brooms, mops, or shovels.
• Frequently pulling product out of the slot with an electric pallet jack and cleaning slot with cleaning supplies and electric scrubber and replace product.
• Occasionally cleaning break areas and offices when necessary.
• Collecting and baling plastic wrap throughout your shift.
• Occasionally cleaning warehouse offices and employee break areas: emptying trash cans, cleaning windows, vacuuming carpeted offices, collecting paper and emptying boxes.
• Occasionally cleaning and maintaining warehouse restrooms through use of disinfecting products when necessary.
• Cleaning fire extinguishers.
• Ensuring lights are turned off and doors are locked when appropriate.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned

What’s a great way to stay in shape?

• Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, and pivoting up to 90% of shift.
• Walking between 6-12 miles per day on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 – 60 lbs. or more.
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead.
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height.
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
