Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site operations, efficiently allocating tasks and managing manpower for various trades including carpentry, steel fixing and masonry.
• Ensure all work strictly adheres to project drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor labor performance, track timesheets, and efficiently manage on-site resource usage and associated costs.
• Conduct safety briefings to maintain a secure working environment.
• Proactively resolve on-site issues, ensuring smooth operation.
• Coordinate with project engineer for work planning, execution, and addressing any technical challenges.
• Coordinate the timely delivery and proper handling of materials and equipment on site.
• Inform the project engineer well in advance of material requirements to avoid delays.
• Purchase any necessary materials from local market as authorized.
• Report daily progress to the Project Engineer, highlighting achievements and potential issues.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10+ years of UAE construction experience, specifically in water and wastewater
• infrastructure projects, including pumping stations, water retaining structures, STPS, RO plants. Etc.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering and construction drawings.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and work under deadline.
• Strong understanding and application of quality control and HSE procedures.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem solving skills.
