Shop Help (Rolling Stock)
Pacific Veneer in Aberdeen, WA
Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm

Job Summary:
Pacific Veneer is seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Help team member to support our Rolling Stock operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining equipment, assisting with repairs, and ensuring smooth day-to-day shop functions. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic maintenance and upkeep on forklifts and other rolling stock equipment
• Assist with inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks
• Keep shop areas clean, organized, and safe
• Support mechanics and supervisors with daily operational needs
• Move materials and equipment as needed using appropriate tools
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with forklifts, maintenance, or mechanical work preferred
• Basic understanding of tools, equipment, and shop practices
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Willingness to learn and take direction

Work Environment:

• Industrial shop setting
• Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
• Safety equipment required and provided as needed
