Service Supervisor Requirements:
- Outgoing and approachable personality
- Excellent communication skills
- Experienced technician
- Strong understanding of technician dispatching and shop workflow
- Comfortable training and leading a team
- Confident, strong problem solver
- Positive, upbeat energy
- Detail oriented and organized
- Team focused mindset
- Consistent and reliable
- Career minded
- Valid driver’s license
Service Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Follow our processes and hold the team accountable to them
- Effectively lead, coach, mentor, and manage service advisors to help them grow
- Provide ongoing training to service department personnel
- Evaluate performance, recognize accomplishments, and hold 1-on-1 meetings with team members
- Motivate and encourage service staff members to reach their full potential
- Maintain above average customer service scores for the department
- Assist guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Retain current service customers and encourage repeat business
- Manage technician dispatching and shop workflow
- Collaborate with other departments in the dealership to accomplish common goals
- Other duties as required
