Momentum Rental and Sales is hiring immediately for a Service Manager.

Service Manager Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Valid Drivers License with acceptable record.
  • TWIC card required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Highly developed background with a minimum 5 years previous experience as a heavy equipment mechanic in both the shop and in the field. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Service Manager Responsibilities & Daily Duties:

  • Coordination and supervision of the overall delivery of quality performance by mechanics, service associates, parts coordinators, and wash racks.
  • Interface with Sales, Project Management, Dispatch, Operations, and Safety to maximize uptime of equipment for revenue production operations.
  • Responsible for overall scheduling of repairs to employees, oversee repairs/check-ins are performed timely. Responsible for compiling information and submitting equipment maintenance reporting as required for monthly report card.
  • Create work schedules and maintain proper accounting of shop staff productivity. run reports, analyze data, address any issues, and make work revisions as necessary. Track service call,s equipment down time and availably capacity.
  • Responsible for delegation of new employees to be trained and documents on the 90 day initial competency forms and turned in timely to Human Resources.
  • Ensure workplace safety and OSAH rules and regulations are up to standard, and the employees are trained. Responsible for keeping up to date on OSHA related regulations. Ensure an overall clean and safe working environment.
  • Interview shop and field candidates. Participate in the hiring of shop and field mechanics Perform employee evaluations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
