Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Prepare and serve food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments via POS terminals
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to sanitation standards
  • Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic culinary duties
  • Ensure timely service by managing order flow and coordinating with kitchen staff for prompt delivery
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently
  • Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude toward serving customers
  • Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bussing tables or cleaning workstations
