  • We are hiring immediately for temporary SERVER ASSISTANT positions.
  • Location: Catering By Design – 1007 York Street, Denver, CO 80206. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Temporary schedule; August – October. Days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Prior FOH and cashier experience is preferred.
  • Perks: This position receives a guaranteed minimum of $7/hour in tips, though actual tips often exceed this!
  • Fixed Pay Rate: $15.79 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Assists servers with various dining room activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports servers in preparing the dining room and table sets.
  • Delivers orders to the table. Busses table.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
  • Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.
  • Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
    • The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
    • The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
    • The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
