Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing and timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for smooth service flow
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for cashiering and food handling
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy service hours
- Previous host/host or serving experience is advantageous but not required
