Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems like OpenTable.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions and upsell specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during service, including proper food handling and bussing.
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Support team members in various tasks such as food preparation, clearing tables, or assisting with host/hostess duties when needed.

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience or food service background is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong skills in customer service, upselling, and guest relations are essential.
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling or cashiering tasks.
• Knowledge of the food industry’s standards for safety, sanitation, and food preparation will help you succeed.
