Security Officer (Full-Time) | Hotel 1000

We are seeking a professional, vigilant, and service-oriented Security Officer to help ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, and property at Hotel 1000 Seattle. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is observant, calm under pressure, and committed to delivering a safe and welcoming luxury hospitality experience.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and addressing potential risks. They bring strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a guest-first mindset to every interaction.

The Nitty Gritty

  • 1–2 years of previous security experience in a hospitality, residential, or commercial environment preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  • Must be able to work late evenings and overnight shifts depending on business needs

The Brass Tacks

  • Patrol hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property
  • Monitor loading dock activity and vendor access
  • Provide a visible security presence while maintaining a warm, guest-friendly demeanor
  • Respond to emergencies, incidents, and guest concerns in a calm and professional manner
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership and local authorities when necessary
  • Complete detailed incident reports when necessary
  • Enforce hotel policies and procedures consistently and fairly
  • Assist guests with directions or general inquiries while maintaining security awareness
