Seeking Security Officer!

Full-time (40 Hours Weekly), 7:00pm-7:00am, works 2 days on, 2 days off and works every other Weekend 7:00pm-7:00am

Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area

We are seeking a Security Officer who under general supervision and according to established procedures protects life and property of all persons on Baptist Health Floyd premises and patrols hospital buildings and ground to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism. Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings. Responds to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors. Participates in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year minimum experience in security, law enforcement, or IAHSS basic training certificate
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training
