We have multiple Shifts available. You will be working as a team alongside other staff members. The post location and schedule is consistent/permanent and does not change.

Work Days & Hours:

• Immediate Opening & hiring for:
• Morning, Swing, and Graveyard Shifts
• Applications of candidates with flexible schedules will be prioritized.

Duties:

· Shelter Entrance Monitoring: Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of visitors, guests, employees, partners, and vendors through the front door, which is the only permitted entrance and exit.

· Bag & Person Screening: Conduct searches of all participants and their belongings each time they enter the shelter. This step is crucial for maintaining safety and security. Treat every participant with equal dignity and professionalism during screening.

· Premises Patrol: Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensure the facility’s security, and make necessary reports.

· Shelter Safety: Observe the shelter during patrols to ensure safe operations. Report and correct any spills, unsafe working conditions, or defective equipment. Monitor clients, conduct dorm and perimeter patrols, and assist clinical/case management staff as required.

· Good communication skills, common sense, and de-escalation techniques.

· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.

· Positive attitude and good communication with team members and clients.
