Duties

• Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry
• Respond swiftly to emergencies or incidents by implementing conflict management protocols and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Conduct thorough inspections of individuals and property to deter theft, vandalism, or other security threats
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security breaches to ensure accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and conducting visual inspections
• Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm and professional demeanor under pressure
• Knowledge of security protocols, loss prevention techniques, and emergency response procedures
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, visitors, law enforcement, and emergency responders
