EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Secretary, you will: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Inspections Division by answering phones, greeting visitors, and providing accurate, professional assistance to the public.Deliver high-level customer service, including confidently de-escalating upset customers and resolving issues in a calm, solutions-focused manner.Support the permitting process by reviewing permits, entering issue dates, processing applications, and collecting departmental fees.Prepare correspondence, manage incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain accurate records with strong attention to detail.Perform a wide range of administrative and clerical functions while effectively multitasking, managing time, and working both independently and collaboratively.
