Job Description-
The school receptionist shall:

  • Type letters, parent bulletins, staff memoranda, Faculty Agenda, Advisory Council Agenda, Board Agenda and related items, minutes of meetings as directed.
  • Answer telephone calls.
  • Greet all parents and visitors with a smile.
  • Maintain student permanent record files.
  • Place ads in the local newspaper as directed.
  • Coordinate morning opening exercises.
  • Collect and record daily student attendance.
  • Run attendance reports and transmit communications.
  • Open and sort mail.
  • Build and maintain digital signage content
  • Schedule the principal’s appointments as directed.
  • Distribute and collect routine forms to and from parents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.

Computer literacy is required. Receptionist will regularly use tools for attendance management, student check in, and student dismissal.

Experience with Google Mail/Calendar, Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint/Word is desired.

Salary/Terms
230 day contract
Salary based on experience
