Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Salon Manager for a busy unisex salon that serves both walk-in and appointment clients. This role will lead a team of 8 stylists while also actively working behind the chair and providing services to clients.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage daily salon operations, hire and train staff, motivate the team, support sales growth, manage inventory, adjust schedules based on business needs, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily salon operations
• Lead, support, and motivate a team of 6 stylists
• Hire, onboard, train, and coach new stylists
• Help the team grow service and retail sales
• Manage and adjust salon schedules based on business needs
• Order and maintain salon inventory and supplies
• Keep the salon clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Provide excellent service to clients
• Perform salon services behind the chair as needed

Qualifications:

• 10 to 15 years of management experience
• Previous salon management experience preferred
• Strong skills in leadership, hiring, coaching, and staff development
• Ability to drive team performance and increase sales
• Experience with salon scheduling and inventory management
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Must hold all licenses required by state law
