PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Clean al areas of the salon thoroughly, with the key aim of enhancing the guest experience by having excelent standards of salon cleanliness. Provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the salon

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
 Gather and empty trash.  Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
 Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
 Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
 Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
 Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
 Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.  Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
 Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.

 Able to speak and write English
 Good communication and people ski ls, including good listening skills
 An understanding of hygiene, and health and safety regulations
 Time management skills  Ability to handle pressure and stress
 Good Work Habits and discipline
 Attention to Detail
