Job Overview
This position’s compensation is hourly, plus commission and bonuses. The Sales Professionals guide customers through the entire process, from selecting the right flooring to having it installed. With their expertise in various flooring products, they help clients find the perfect fit for their wants, needs, and budget. Customer satisfaction is their top priority, and they always strive to make the experience easy and enjoyable.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product choices according to their individual needs
• Measure and create estimates for flooring and related products and provide customers with a quote within 3 business days
• Prospect, qualify and generate sales with both new and established customers, including being willing to divide time between the showroom floor and prospecting for new clients
• Network regularly and work effectively with other store employees and within the community
• After completion of each job, follow up with customer to ensure customer satisfaction
• Follow up with all customer requests or concerns within 24 hours
• Keep up to date on the wide selection of floors we offer, along with benefits, warranties, and installation of each
• Complete Carpet One sales certification and stay current with online training
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and other functions
• Provide clear and precise work orders and drawings for order prior to scheduling
• Cover the showroom as needed

Job Requirements

• High school, vocational school, GED or equivalency
• Computer skills, MS Excel, MS Word, RFMS, Type 40 or more WPM
• Prior flooring installation experience
• Possesses good mathematical, analysis, and observations skills
• Workdays are Monday – Friday with occasional appointments on Sundays
• Works in an efficient timely manner
• Submits weekly reports and updates to the appropriate supervisor
• Self-starter and self-motivator
• Willingness to do inside and outside sales
• Ability to problem solve and adapt to unforeseen changes
• Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Pay: $45,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
