Job Summary: Exciting opportunity for an “A” Hotel Sales Manager at the renovated Holiday inn Plainview NY.

This position is responsible for increasing hotel revenue by identifying and booking new business. The ideal candidate is someone who ensures nothing gets in their way and can close business.

Markets include local accounts, maintaining relationships with third-party planners, corporate accounts, sports teams, and all other unidentified markets. This role is heavily commissioned based and the candidate who is selected will be very well incentivized.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Conduct personal sales calls to generate new business and strengthen client relationships.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
• Implement sales action plans as directed as well as utilizing their own knowledge of the market to gain share.
• Manage company accounts, and maintain an organized filing system.
• Foster relationships with local community
• Prepare and present sales call reports, internal sales reports, and other documentation as required.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

• Over 2 years of experience in hotel sales (preferred),
• Strong understanding of sales principles and strategies for generating new business.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships and interacting with internal teams.
• Ability to create and execute marketing campaigns and sales promotions.
• Proficiency in sales systems for reporting and tracking sales performance.
• Strong organizational skills for managing accounts, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
• Ability to take initiative, and manage time effectively.

Work Environment:

• Primarily out of office for sales calls and events.
• Frequent interaction with clients, team members, and local organizations.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business and client demands.
