Safety Officer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE regulations, standards, and company procedures.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain project safety programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and permit-to-work requirements.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs.
  • Work closely with the project team to promote and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline.
  • NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer.
  • At least 1 year of experience working on ADNOC projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of ADNOC HSE standards, procedures, and regulations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prepare HSE reports and maintain safety documentation.
