Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team as an Inn Room Cleaner & Café Attendant.

This unique role combines the responsibilities of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests with providing excellent service in our on-site café.

The ideal candidate will be efficient, organized, and personable, capable of balancing the demands of both cleaning rooms and managing café operations.

Start can be immediate.

Key Responsibilities:

Inn Room Cleaning:

– Strip beds and change linens as needed.

– Operate and manage laundry machines, ensuring timely completion of laundry tasks. – Clean and tidy guest rooms including making beds, dusting surfaces, and maintaining overall room cleanliness.

– Sanitize bathrooms including toilets, sinks, and showers or tubs.

– Restock welcome baskets, replenish shower gels, and change drinking glasses.

– Reset room furniture and ensure all amenities are in place.

– Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop common areas to maintain a clean and inviting environment.

– Pay close attention to details and make sure no stains, hairs or marks are present on linens, or in bathrooms.

– Perform occasional yard work, such as mowing, as needed.

Café Attendant:

– Open and close the café according to scheduled hours (Breakfast Service).

– Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle transactions accurately.

– Prepare and assemble food and beverage orders, including making smoothies.

– Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, following health and safety standards.

– Provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest inquiries or concerns.

– Maintain inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.

– Communicate daily to owners regarding what supplies need to be purchased before they are out.

Qualifications:

– Food Safe Certificate or ability to complete course before commencing work (this can be done online).

– Previous experience in housekeeping and/or café operations is preferred.

– Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work independently.

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

– Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
