As the Executive Housekeeper, you are responsible for supervising laundry attendants, public area attendants and room attendants, and the cleaning of the hotel guest rooms and common areas, as well as interviewing, training, and motivating staff. You are also responsible for housekeeping and laundry inventory. You must perform all duties in accordance with the Company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public spaces
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, floor care routines, and quality control procedures to uphold cleanliness standards
  • Train new team members on cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and customer service expectations
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage
  • Address guest requests or complaints promptly with professionalism and positive attitude
  • Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies related to janitorial and industrial cleaning practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision within hospitality environments
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication skills for training staff and interacting with guests
  • Familiarity with janitorial supplies, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
  • Be available for On-Call schedule
