Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. This role is vital in delivering exceptional guest experiences through high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Previous hotel, custodial, or janitorial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
• Perform floor care duties such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine appearance
• Ensure all public areas, hallways, and common spaces are tidy and well-maintained
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Follow established safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting replenishments as needed
• Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality, security, and guest privacy

Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning, hospitality, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within designated timeframes
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices is a plus
• Previous housekeeper or housekeeping management experience is beneficial but not required
