Full job description

Responsibilities/Duties

· Reports for duty on time and in proper uniform.

· Clean assigned guest rooms according to established procedures and brand standards within the allotted time frame.

· Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities according to brand standards

· Report any areas within guest rooms that need attention, such as fixtures, door locks, televisions, HVAC, etc. to floor supervisor.

· Reporting lost and found articles to floor supervisor according to lost and found policy.

· Reports the status of rooms as they are completed on a timely manner.

· Returns equipment and supplies to the proper storage areas.

· Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.

· Keeping an organized linen cart that is neat, well stocked and organized.

· Performs all other department related tasks, as assigned by management.

Qualifications

· Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience an asset

· Proven sell motivation, ability to work well with minimum supervision

· Command of the English language in order to communicate with guests and associates.

· Must be able to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays

Physical Demands

· Must be able to stand for 8 hours

· Able to bend, stoop, and kneel for low area cleaning

· Able to push approximately 150 pound loaded cart

· Good hearing and vison
