Be a part of our Housekeeping Team!
As a room attendant you play a critical part in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest. You will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms and assigned areas are impeccably maintained according to strict IHG brand and Naples Hotel Group standards.
Your primary focus is optimizing each guest’s stay by living out our core company purpose: “hospitality from our family to yours.”
Job Responsibilities
Maintain Cleanliness: Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms in accordance with Holiday Inn Express and Naples Hotel Group standards.
Detail-Oriented Tasks: Perform essential cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, making beds, and restocking room amenities.
Sanitize Spaces: Ensure bathrooms are fully sanitized and all furnishings are clean and in excellent condition.
Manage Supplies: Maintain a fully stocked and organized housekeeping cart with the appropriate products needed for daily assignments.
Communicate Status: Report the status of cleaned rooms promptly and accurately to the Executive Housekeeper or Front Desk team.
Monitor Property Condition: Identify and immediately report any maintenance issues, room damage, or supply shortages.
Deliver True Hospitality: Greet all guests encountered during your shift with the signature friendly and welcoming attitude expected at an IHG property.
Address Needs: Handle guest requests or concerns promptly and courteously, escalating to management when necessary.
Follow Protocol: Adhere to established hotel procedures for reporting and securing lost and found items.
Ensure Security: Maintain key security and strictly protect the confidentiality of guest and company information at all times.
Prioritize Safety: Comply with all safety policies, emergency procedures, and equipment handling guidelines. Complete all required safety training and brand certifications.
Report Hazards: Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions immediately to management.
Represent the Brand: Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Naples Hotel Group and IHG standards.
Support the Team: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet evolving business demands.
Job Qualifications
Prior experience working in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred (especially in a hotel or hospitality setting) but not required.
Strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
