Job Summary
The Room Attendant at Quality Inn Rimbey is responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. This role involves performing thorough cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring high standards of hospitality and cleanliness are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobby, and restrooms
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly within designated timeframes
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
  • Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens as needed
  • Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality, security, and guest privacy

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality roles is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact with guests professionally
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques related to hotel or industrial cleaning environments is advantageous
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
