Position: Restaurant Supervisor

Location: Hilton Garden Inn Poughkeepsie/Fishkill, 25 Westage Dr., Fishkill, NY 12524

Pay: $25-26 per hour based on experience

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn in Fishkill, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving top-line revenue, managing cost of goods, and ensuring exceptional customer service in our restaurant. This position requires a hands-on approach, as the supervisor will also assist with direct labor shifts, including bartending and serving.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Management: Monitor and push top-line revenue by implementing effective sales strategies and promotions.
Cost Control: Purchase, manage and control the cost of goods sold, ensuring adherence to company standards and budgetary constraints.
Labor Metrics: Analyze labor metrics to optimize staffing levels and ensure efficient operations while maintaining quality service.
Staff Training: Train, mentor, and develop restaurant staff to enhance their skills and ensure they provide excellent customer service.
Customer Service: Foster a positive dining experience for guests by ensuring high standards of service and addressing any customer concerns promptly.
Direct Labor Shifts: Actively participate in daily operations by working shifts as a bartender and server, providing support where needed.
Compliance: Ensure all restaurant operations comply with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and management to maintain smooth communication and coordination.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.
Strong understanding of revenue management and cost control processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to train and motivate team members.
Proficient in managing labor metrics and scheduling.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
TIPS or similar certification preferred.
